SHREV 223 HAILS FROM SOUTH
CAROLINA WHERE THEY ALL MET IN THE SAME HIGH SCHOOL ( YORK COMP. HIGH SCHOOL).
THEY STARTED OUT PLAYING COVER SONGS AT B-DAY PARTIES LIKE EVERY OTHER
BAND. SHORTLY AFTER THEY DECIDED THEY WANTED TO THROW SOME OF THEIR OWN
SONGS INTO THE MIX. PEOPLE INSTANTLY STARTED TO ENJOY AND BEGIN TO LOVE
THEIR UNIQUE SOUND. NOW, A LITTLE DOWN THE ROAD, SHREV HAS MANAGED TO
PUT OUT A DEBUT EP IN 2005 THAT STILL SELLS COPIES TODAY. THEY ALSO HAVE
A DEBUT FULL-LENGTH ENTITLED "ITS TIME TO STAND UP". UNLIKE
MOST BANDS, SHREV HAS NEVER EXPERIENCED A MEMBER CHANGE SINCE THEIR BEGINNING
IN EARLY 2005. THEY HAVE GAINED A GOOD SUPPORTIVE FAN BASE AROUND THEIR
HOME TOWN AS WELL AS AROUND THE SOUTH EAST. NOW SHREV HAS MANAGED TO
OBTAIN BOOKING COMPANIES, RECORD LABELS, AND DISTRIBUTORS TO WORK WITH
THEM AND PROMOTE THEIR LIVES AS MUSICIANS (directly from the bands
myspace.) I want to start off by saying that this is a crazy band, anyone who looks at there website can tell that shit. They have minimal screaming, but they are fucking amazing, I love there chorus's some of the songs sound very majestic, like the chorus is god! There is a echo effect on some of the songs. They have a very punk sound to most of the music! I really like this band, but I haven't gotten to see them yet, so if you going give me a ride I think this band is great!
